Review tests are automatically generated, drawing their questions from prior assignments in the same list. They are very convenient since they are based on content already selected by the teacher as appropriate, are delivered to the student at a predetermined point in the lesson sequence, and are automatically graded. This preferences page will let you decide on the mastery score, number of questions, and what range of assignments will provide the content.
• The first option (a checkbox) determines if a student can return to the Review test after it has been mastered. Since most teachers prefer not to have students reviewing test questions after a test, leaving this option disabled (unchecked) is normal.
1. Decide if you want to give access after mastery, then click on the Students can access... checkbox to enable (checked) or disable (unchecked) the function, which ever represents your choice.
2. In the Review Test percentage score... text box type the minimal score required for mastery (a number between 0 and 100, do not include the "%" symbol).
3. In the Number of questions... text box type the number of questions that will be drawn from the lesson content (a number between 1 and 99).
• The final choice is between two radio button
options that determine whether the Review test includes every prior assignment in the Review test's assignment list or just those since the last Review test (in that assignment list). Typically the default setting of since the last Review is recommended.
4. Read the two options, then click the radio button that reflects your choice (only one can be selected at a time).
5. Either, click on the Finished button to retain your changes and return to the previous menu.
OR
Click on the Undo My Changes button, which returns the settings to the state they were in when you first opened this page.
OR
Click on the Cancel button to return to the previous menu without saving your changes.
