Overview of Viewing and Printing Reports
The A+LS
report engine is easy to use because you follow a logical series of
four steps. There are dozens of reports to choose from and most allow
you to select qualifying information to focus your report. You can
choose from a wide range of options, such as a broad overview of
class-wide performance or generate a detailed profile of a single
student's progress.
The four steps through View and Print Reports are:
Step 1 - Selecting the Type of Report
Step 2 - Choosing the Qualifying Information
Step 3 - Reviewing the Report
Step 4 - Printing the Report
Step 1 - Selecting the Type of Report
You have a choice of three types of reports:
Assignment Reports - These focus primarily on class-wide reports and student progress. They are listed in the left text box.
Administrative Reports - They provide lists of A+LS
system elements, ranging from lists of grade types and curriculum
components to active users. These reports are displayed in the right
text box.
Previously Generated Reports - Reports you have previously worked with are listed, making it easy to find your favorites.
1. Use the scroll bars to browse the lists of Assignment Reports and Administrative Reports.
Hint - If
you are unsure which report to pick select one that looks interesting
and proceed. Since you can preview the report prior to printing it
there is no harm in browsing. If a report doesn't match your needs you
only have to click on the View and Print Reports button on the toolbar at the top of the page and select a different report.
2. When you have decided on the type of report, click on the report's name, highlighting it.
3. Click on the Continue button to proceed to Step 2 - Choosing the Qualifying Information.
