Choosing the Lessons to Preview

It is easy to select the lesson content you want to preview.

  3. Click on the desired subject, highlighting it.

Next you'll choose the lesson you want to review.

  4. In the Select a lesson text box use the scroll bar to look down the list until you find the one you want to review.

  5. Click on the desired lesson, highlighting it.

  6. Click on the Next button to proceed to the next screen where you will choose the activity (Study, Practice, Mastery, or Essay).

Common Commands and Quitting the A+LS Program

You have two choices that appear on almost every Preview Lesson screen:

? - Help, found in the upper left on the toolbar. The help screens are designed to support first time users across a broad range of ages.

X - Exit, also in the upper left on the toolbar. This command lets you quit from the lesson preview the correct way. Selecting X takes you back to the A+LS management sytem.

Hint - You should NOT close your browser while you are in the middle of the A+LS screens because this will leave your log-on name still connected to the A+LS server. It is better to Log Off after you have finished an activity and not in the middle of one.

Hint - If you move to a page that is all white, it is probably just a minor Internet problem.

  1. Point your cursor to the middle of the white area, then right click the mouse (Macintosh single button mice use [Control] click).

          A pop-up menu will open.

  2. Select Back from the pop-up menu.

This will take you back to the previous page. Now you can redo what you were trying when you got the white page.

WARNING: Never choose Refresh or on Windows computers tap the [F5] key, they will log you off of the A+LS system.
